Not much different than dropping any other bike to drag race.

Not quite, an 8.49 is pretty quick for a street bike. However, it could be an 1/8 mile but I cant tell from the video.

I was talking about lowering the bike being retarded, not the ET.

cycle world article said the bone stock bike ran a 9.78 (they said just 0.01 sec slower than their best ever production bike ET..ie Busa). They also confirmed the 180 hp.

No freaking way that bike could trap 150mph in an 1/8th mile... that's definitely a 1/4 mile.

Definately 1/4 he went through all 6 gears so was prolly geared also, but that is for sure, takes talent, if U dont think so then go try and lay down numbers anywhere near that on just about anything and get back with us and let us know how that goes, but I hear they are having clutch issues and a clutch is about $600 and they are on back order, but the big dogs in the business are already working on aftermarket stuff That would be equivelent to running about a 1:40 at TWS (Texas World Speedway)

Just read over on PB that Teasly ran an 8.42 @ 161 on a 66" stock motor Busa. Now that is impressive and certainly believable. His 60ft was 1.32 with a stock clutch...................!!!!!

How did he keep the front down? I imagine it was strapped and lowered?

No doubt a sweet bike all around. If I was to buy another SS bike the bemmer would be my 1st choice. HOWEVER i love my 14 and have had no regrets since my purchase.

an 8.49 at 158 is really fast for a 1000. most 1000s run high 8's to low 9's in the quarter depending on rider and mods, mainly rider. i would like to know all the mods done to it. just bolt on stuff or if they went into the motor which i doubt from all the reviews i have read it seems like it would do that with just basic stuff.
