Westheimer has got to be just as crazy, but the lights are timed. I think more traffic on W. than 1960, and even more obstacles (signs and ) to block view of m/c's.

I'm in the ins biz... and hate to say that 30% or more of the drivers on the road don't have insurance, or don't carry enough coverage. If they have the state minimum it will only pay up to 25k worth of medical bills/wages/etc for you.

You should always carry good insurance and get Uninusred/Underinsured Motorist coverage. This coverage is cheap compared to COLL/COMP. It aint worth ending up in the poor house, because of someone else's stupidity.

Not to sound like I'm preaching, but bottom line, having good insurance from a good company (that pays) is a must when riding in Houston for sure. I got hit by a drunk and illegal alien at 2pm one day with no ins... if I didn't have good coverage I would be screwed and he only did 4 days in the clink.
