I had to ride home in the rain this afternoon

I rode over to my dads to spend fathers day with the family. Around late afternoon the sky started getting a bit gross so I decided to hike it home, not wanting to meet my first ride in the rain.

I barely made it out of the neihborhood, and all broke loose. It didint bother me to get wet, But I had alot of people look at me like "what in the is wrong with you?"
All that played in my head the whole way home was that billy joel song, the one where he sings about how "you told me not to ride in the rain, but I made it home anyway, and that just proved to you that im crazy"

I know riding in the rain is nothing new to most of you people, but It was the only thing of substance that happend to me today, just wanted to share.

Ill admit when I was a kid, I was the first to put on my swim suit and go outside. The rain was the perfect senario for ninja turtles vs gi joe.
And don't get me started on the whole RWD car/rain equation.

If I had a full covering suit and better tires, I would venture into the rain more

+1 on NOT riding in the rain. I was starting to think it was just me but I can't stand it

The rain doesn't bother me. Spending all the time to clean the bike and chain afterwards does.
