I forgot to check if this happens on my bike on 4th but I highly doubt. I love going WOT on 3rd/4th because of the engine whine. Sounds like I haz superchargerz.

Not sure what your schedule looks like Saturday morning and early afternoon, but I'll be out in the garage working on bikes most of the day. I've got a decent amount of experience with Keihin CV carbs and could take a look at it for you. Pm if interested. I'm in Cypress. I just need to pick up my Ohlins from Patrick that morning. Other than that, the rest of the day is back in the garage.

Don't know but I usually start with the basics first.

1) Good Gas
2) Free Flowing Fuel valve. (When vacuum applied)
3) No kinked, disconnectedor or cracked hoses - fuel line or vacuum
4) Does it have a throttle position sensor if so check that it is in spec.
5) When the throttle is wide open does the throttle cable pull the carbs to full open.
6) Are the floats at correct level

Seems strange the problem started so quickly after your last fill up.

Good Luck

Hey Cali,

I offered to help A.D. out on this one since I'll be out in the garage working on the Ducs and playing with the RGV250 today. I know that I'm a little bit out of your way, but you're certainly welcome to drop by ofter work if we're still mucking around with it. I'll PM the address and info to you, or just give me a call on the cell. If so, don't worry about tools not a problem around here. If I can just get the rest of the clutter from the move put away I'll be doing even better. I opened the lid on the Safety Kleen and it was full of YSR suspension parts and carb bowls. Now I know where those went...

PMd you more info.

Chad

Thanks Chad. CCH and Lady Duc are some very upstanding people and I appreciate all the hard work he put in and the great lunch that lady duc provided I learned alot just following him around his garage looking over his shoulder like a lost puppy. We didn't remedy the situation yet but we have narrowed it down from a number of things it could have been.
