i've gone both directions, picked up my busa in NC and rode it home last august.

If you find the crate and pack it yourself it should be no more than 400.00. Aslo find private small comapanies that deliver other kind of stuff to and from the destinations and I have gottn it for as cheap as 350. but that was like a piano that bought. If you pay more than 700 they should be doing all the work for you and provide the packing

If your not in a hurry call a man by the name of Jerry Kautz at vintageorgans.com That dude delivers himself out of houston and he always delivers like every other months to San fan and Sacramento area. im sure if he has the space he would take 500 or less as long as he has space. No crate necesarry. He will just strap it up. you might even be able to over driving for him. I did that a couple of years ago. had a cool trip
