Busa fork swap

Can you swap GSX-R1000 forks onto a GenI busa? I'm interested in the better forks and 4-pot radial brakes. Will I need a GSXR wheel/axle? Anyone done this? What other parts would be necessary?

Fork OD isn't identical, and will require slight shimming. You'll need a gixxer wheel as the rotor offset for the radials is different. Also, I think you have to run a gsxr wheel cover. I believe the forks are slightly longer too.

is there a shim kit? I've heard of this swap being done pretty regularly so had ASSumed that there wasn't a lot to it.

Axle wheel, brakes all that fun stuff.

What purpose?

If you need to tighten the spring rate, fork inners can be shimmed, spring kit purchased or go w ohms.
