FYI... poor poor Sete!

While the rest of the field was assembling for the restart, Sete was put in an ambulance and sent to Barcelona. It hit a truck on the motorway. If his collarbone wasn't properly broken before the traffic accident it was afterwards. Capirossi, who looked to be unconscious in the sandtrap, went to hospital in a helicopter but scans showed none of the suspected internal bleeding. The other victim was Marco Melandri. He was caught up with at least two bikes and was unconscious for a long time. The first diagnosis is concussion, whiplash injuries to his neck, and a dislocated collarbone. If that's all he got, he's a lucky man.

WOW! If that really is all Marco got. He is SUPER DUPER LUCKY!! Sucks for Sete too.

Hmm.. No word on Hopper? He plowed into the wall and thought he had broken something in his ankle.

I had my front brake lever hit the elbow of another rider during the first TMGP weekend sprints. lol up and over I went too. Doh!

The telemetry on Sete's bike showed he was at 121mph when he flipped... He actually broke a steel plate that had been inserted into his collar bone from a previous crash.

That crash was horrible, you hate to see that happen to those guys, unless it is Sete! Watched it on both MotoGP.com and on Speed, cringed both times. You miss alot of stuff if you don't have the MotoGP.com subscription. And did anyone see Josh Herrin in the Supersport race!?! He really gave Roger Hayden a run for it! That kid is awesome!

Hope Ducati as "Tumbling Bike Coverage" in thier policy. LOL. But it's good that the guys are relatively ok, they could have been busted up bad.

Nah, Sete wasn't run over, but he pretty much did a complete front flip. lol

Melandri was sorta runover or sandwhiched between bikes..

I'll see if I can leech the vid off motogp.com
