hey Zaid, so what exactly happened to the second group? when the first sheriff blocked the road we were all like oh ..... but he was very polite and just asked us to slow down so we were all relived, at that point we didn't know the second group made a u turn to avoid the sheriff and went back into CR.

Glad you had a good ride.
I was out that way this AM, looking for a ride before the rain.
Saw the group pull into the Shell,
Then met a rider at the Chevron at the end of CR He had lost a muffler White R1
He went back to look for it a few minutes later another rider stopped at the Chevron.
Black Ducati 749
Then we saw the flashing lights down the road.

It never did rain.

I was behind that r1 going around 140+ when his pipe flew off the bike and almost hit my bike, I am glad I always keep 4-5 bike length distance between bikes, otherwise I wouldn't have enough time to react.

You know you just never know what could happen.
Glad it missed you.

I have had parts fall of a bike before but it was an old Harley.

I was talking to him and another rider stop by and told him he lost his pipe, and it surprised him.

I found it had to belive you could lose a pipe and not notice a performace or sound difference.

When he lost the pipe his bike sounded twice as loud, don't know why he didn't noticed the change lol

after his pipe fell off I just fell behind to put a little more distance in between just in case his bike starts to loose more parts! Now I think it was funny but when it happened it was actually pretty scary, his pipe weights like 15lbs!

There were 2 sheriff's who chased us down and pulled us over and took over our drivers license and insurance and told us the same thing. Pretty much just warned us to slow down and they didn't wanna see us crash and pretty much all they had said to us and then let us go but we didn't know where to go after that so after that everyone had went there separate ways lol.

edit: I think when we popped a u-ie there was a bike that hit another bike also :/ but i think they were fine after that tho not too sure :/

I think that might well be the reason why he couldn't notice the sudden increase in noise level from his open pipe! I am just glad nobody got hurt!

Actually we talked to one of the riders involved in that little accident at fox and hounds, he said it was a very minor accident, he was only going about 2mph, I think there were no serious damages to any of the two bikes involved.
