Hopkins will lose the front end trying to make up the speed difference he's going to suffer on the long straight...

3 out of 4 ain't bad. I missed 2nd place, but I got the right team! I really didn't expect Hayden to do much because he wasn't up to speed for most of the weekend.. Guess they found something overnight though.

I had faith in rossi and hayden but I had no clue who would be 3rd or 4th. too bad with happened to melandri and capirossi. i'm not big fans of theirs but I hated to see that happen to 2 good racers. it did make for an exciting beginning of the race though

what happened to Hayden at the end though? he was hanging with Rossi for a while then at the end of the race he was 4.5 secs behind?

He gave up and settled for 2nd place points rather than risk crashing. With Capirossi out of the race, Hayden now has a 20 point lead in the championship. Smart move, but he can't keep doing that forever. At some point, he's gonna have to win some races. You can rely on people crashing/breaking.

thru nothing he did, Rossi benefited from Capirossi crashing out of the race. He went from being 34 points behind Capirossi to 9points behind in total championship points.

Hayden has 29 points over Rossi, but with what 10 races left, he could still lose the championship if he doesn't start winning races.

The race for the championship in points between Rossi and Hayden and Capirossi could end up being more exciting than any one particular race.
