supras u can make redic. fast, thats why people like em.

rx8 is a negatory IMO cause its not all that fast, it turns alright but the Z isnt far behind if at all, and the s2k kicks its in that respec.

i like the Z over the s2k cause in daily driving or even street racing you wont find urself using the s2k's full potention, take it to a track on the other hand and ull notice quite a bit of space between u and others in and out of a turn. but if you dont expect to be racing it like that or any other races where turning can make or break u, i wouldnt suggest it for the money. not to mention the 06 Z is about as reliable as they come, my friend treats his like trash and it runs as well as it did when he first got it.

(just for another opinionated answer) i wouldnt go turbo (twin or single) right away if ever, u can make a 300rwhp n/a Z as fast as a 400rwhp TT Z due to the lag time, now of course once the turbo kicks in ur ready to rock, but u gotta wait for that now dontcha? but IMO i would take the single turbo just to get all that power (bwuahahahahahaha) outa the car. but of course in the end its all up to the user.

rx8s for the record are trash, i worked at a dealership, either supra, or lexus sc 300 the chassis parts are interchangeble....yurbo is the way to go, anything else is playtime...if you choose the correct compression ratio, right size turbo, manifold, cams and cam timing, at least 850cc injectors, intercooler etc etc you can get a 500 plus wheel horsepower rear wheel drive that hits full boost by 3900 rpm and thats on a 4 cylinder, you can use bigger turbo and maybe even stroke a supra motor for superfast spool even up to 700hspwer...and you can go dual ceramic ball bearing cartridge for faster spool times, you just hhave to plan it all out ansd decide what you want it for..if you want fast spool at the track, get engine management that has launch control, you can leave the line with 18 psi if you want or more depends on your launch rpm..get ready to spends a shitload fmoney , if you aint gonna do it right dont do it all cuz youll just be waisting your money

Haha... woah, you guys are getting too far along into the mods. I'll probably put on a high end exhaust and some lightweight rims... I'd also like to get the door handles shaved and take of all the emblems. I just want a nice clean sleek look to it.

This will be my daily driver so I'll have to keep it nice and street comfy... so no turbos, suspension mods or any of that stuff...

....unless I get the big promotion I'm working on. I just gotta figure out how to get my 6'4 frame under my (female) bosses desk. :icon_bigg

correct me if i'm wrong...but i think this thread once again has gotten offtopic.....(lol at MH )

but i think he's looking for a reliable stock Daily driver...

not a car that can make incredible boost after putting $$$ in it...

i say if you afford it...an 04+ 350z since they (supposedly) fixed the tire feathering/ trans problem......dont get a 2003 350z=headache

dont buy an 00-01 s2000 because they had trans grinding problems that were fixed in 02. plus 02+'s have the glass rear window. i get around 22-26 mixed driving

rx8's are cool looking..but i didn't really feel it when i test drove it...kinda just like another car....and the EPA gas mileage is a joke...none of the poepl i know can make 25mpg mixed....most get aroudn 18mpg mixed

2001 17-18k
2002 18-21k
2003 19-22

if you could find a 04 for that much then id totally go w/ the s2k because an 04 Z would be significantly more expensive, atleast a few thousand. the only problem is you'd have to find 1 not on carmax or something like that because they always put it up for more than its worth :BangHead: (id have my 350Z, sti, or evo MR if it wasnt for them!!) :mumum: <-- just felt like putting it in there but if you're going for new, 350Z IMO!!!!!!!111one!one
