give me a f break. I don't have one but I have ridden one for hours even days. It is bar none the best and easiest track bike to ride. Sorry 09R1 riders. Honda delivered. only 600 that matches is exclusivly the 09 zx6. I could be wrong, I have been wrong before. But without question I would start at an 08/09 cbr1000 for the track. what could be better.

I'll put some pics up in the morning. It's black and silver. This thing is really easy to ride fast. I can see how it could get you in trouble real easy. Forgot how smooth the inline fours accelerate. My weedeater vibrates more than this thing. I've never had a bike this light so it is weird because it literally feels like a big bicycle.

At 39 pounds less weight the 600 could be better. Put 39 pounds of plates in a back pack and go for a ride. Some riders have both and have gotten quicker lap times on their 600. I owned a 09 600RR and now a 09 1KRR. The only thing the 1KRR has over the 600 is power, that's it. The liter engine has a lot more inertia and doesn't spin up nearly as quick as the 600

Doesn't really need to spin up as quick does it? I love my 08, I've been keeping a close eye on my oil, my understanding is if you do get one with bad rings Honda wants to see the exhaust smoke on video before they cover it. I've never ridden a 600, I'd like to sometime to feel the difference.

To me it makes the 600 more responsive when downshifting. I also like the higher rev limit

Congrats sir! Glad you like 'er (though I knew you would)!

The Yoshi eliminates the flapper in the exhaust (which gives you a tad more power up to 5K, when the OEM flapper would open up all the way).

You can also do (though I did not) the air intake flapper mod. Not sure on the specifics of what RPM that opens and closes, or how much power it would give you.

As to Stubb's, I still get all my parts from them, even though they have to order everything for the KAWI's! Tommy and Richard and Josh are the coolest... and Beauford (AKA Clay) is decent, too.

Oh yeah, I think you weigh a pound or ten more than me... so you might increase the rear preload to the second or third detent (its on the first detent now, 'cause I'm a scrawny 'lil guy).
