i got the ddm 35w 6k. its clear with a mist of blue. gives the cbr that clean sharp look. i believe the 55w would give you a brighter headlight. and possibly take away from the color effect. I'm not to sure but that just what i was getting when doing some research. im sure if im wrong someone will come and clear it up. but all in all. i love the 6k.

I don't get it. People complain about cars having it, but doesn't when it come to bike. Bikes usually shine right into the rear view mirror like truck does.
Oh well. I have it on my car and was wondering why people dislike it so much even though it doesn't even touch their rear view

Same here..

4200K would be the purest form of white you can get. 6000k is also good but has too much of a blue tint, giving it that ricer look. You can't go wrong with anywhere between 4200K - 6000K.

Anything over 6000K you will compromise visibility. The human eye is less receptive to colors that are on the end of the spectrum with shorter wave lengths. 10,000K HID would have a purple/violet hue, which has the shortest wave length (lowest visibility).

Also 55W > 35W, yet the latter would be sufficient.

Floyd if you need help let me know, I did mine the clean way (No drilling holes in the dust caps).

Just snip off the original blue connectors and solder with the DDM kit.
