You could just buy a membership to an existing track. Then you wouldn't have to do all the work that goes along with ownership.

I think you you were just buying rural land and then having a 2 mile twisty asphalt road it wouldn't be so pricey.
Remember the OP was talking about a private track for him and a few buds.

You leave out the grandstands, facilities for the public and fancy buildings it would reduce the price.

The only real downside is, one of your "buddies" has a wreck and then sues the outta you, cuz hey, your the rich dude.

Let's get a real price range and we could pool our money.

Say 25 people and split the coast

I'm in!

if let say we can get it build for 500,000, at 25 persons, its 20,000 each and that is cheaper than some tracks lifetime membership, and we own it!

i am sure if you wanted out you could sell it ex !

but if we owned it we would not have to cover any kind of insurance or waiver couse well its ours!

sounds good , so wher are we going to build ! ?

Again that's a public track with all the facilities and amenities.

I'm liking the idea of a MH track but there would have to be insurance and all that. Somebody would want to bring an outside guest and they would own the track right after they broke their collar bone.
