Smile SW Sunday Morning Ride May 09

Time: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Place: PP 46 / La Madeleine French Bakery & Cafe (open for breakfast)
2675 Town Center Blvd N, Sugar Land


Kick Stands Up @ 9:15AM

Route: Will be determined during meeting!

This can be a serious ride so WEAR YOUR GEAR!

Please read some basic common sense rules for this ride:

A. keep at least 2 bike lengths distance between bikes at all times.
B. pay attention to the road and the bikes in front of you.
C. ride in staggered formation on straights.
D. No wheelies in the same lane as other riders (use another lane to wheelie).
E. When passing cars, don't slow down after the pass, leave room for the riders that may be passing with you.
F. do not ride out of your comfort zone!
G. keep a constant speed, do not accelerate to pass on the straights and then park it on the turns, its all about being smooth!
H. YOU MUST HAVE INSURANCE UNDER YOUR OWN NAME, NO EXCEPTIONS!

*Please come with a FULL tank of gas, we will not make a gas stop before crabb river anymore!

Finally got new front and rear tires for the duc! Went with the BT016 instead of the Rosso Corsa, just wanted to try something new and see how it compares to the pirellis!

My first impression is that the bike's initial turn is a lot quicker but that might just be due to the higher profile of a brand new tire..... got chicken strips of about 1.5 inches now lol

i will be going slow for the first hundred miles on my new tires so the pace will be very moderate! Manuel got a new rear tire as well so we are just going to get rid of that silicone coating on the tires and get them ready for this sunday!

once you exit on 59 (CR exit), make a left at the light, go under the bridge and you are going to pass 3 lights and the Shell station is on the left side of the road.... its before you crossed the rail road tracks!

if its easier, i can meet up with you at starbucks on 59@99, just let me know before 4pm.
