Wow Talk about a rude awakening

Well today me and my boy decide to take a ride out to the northside. We took the beltway and since we both have just a few years of experience we waited until the straight away to open the bikes up. Well even though I have him by like 40 lbs i thought my 99 R6 would have an advantage against his zx6. Well it started off really good and I had him a good 3 bike lengths then we get to 120 and well I look back and see him catchin up and then I was at about 140 when I decide to slow down and he was still pulling !!! Tha lil ninja does get up.

Straight line is boring, anyone can build or buy a faster bike. The real skill is in the corners.

i still like a good drag race every now and then… i tend to take 1000's by surprise off the hit tho… they most of the time catch me up top. then there left wondering how a little 600 just almost cracked their .… i only weigh a buck 25 so that helps

I'm not saying it's not fun, but for the most part the winner has the faster machine. Unless you have the same bikes then it's interesting.

well first off by "your boy" I hope youre not talking about your son............ cause thats just not cool.

And 2ndly you would be surprised and how many of the "riders" on here dont know how to hang in the straights. I see missed gears and bad shifts happen all the time. Remember just because you own a bike doesnt mean you can do anything well........ striaghts or twisties alike

Yeah, I took an R1 with the cobra. Dude couldnt ride. It's not a gimme that bikes will be quick in a straight line. Some people just dont have the to twist on it, especially on 1ks.
