Hope everyone made it home well. Thank you for a great ride. I'm sorry I am so slow & held you guys up on those curves. That was one of a ride for me. Don't think I'll attempt soething like tihs for awhile (i'm in the medical field and work in the ER...I saw too many broken bones and missing limps so it's a mental thing for me).
btw, my 250 is no match for 90+ mph freeway so I tag along with a Harley guy home He prob think who the heck am I )

Had a great time today. Most miles (270) I have ridden in one day so far in my short riding history so that was cool.

Are you the guy with the Black "Monster" Ninja 250? I was trying to stay behind you as much as I could. When we got past the Woodlands Mall, everyone went WOT and left you behind. My exit was at 2920. Glad to see that you made it home, okay!

dont worry about it man. we all have to learn somewhere. its better that u ride at your own pace and learn things.

i was more than happy to slow down through 3090. it scared me last time. lol

Who was the black bike that was down on 3090 on the way home? We all pulled off, but It looked like they had it handled.

I learned a few things today. I am not smarter than a gas pump. I can't remember my zip code. Anna's bike needs tires. Anna's bike is a lot of torquey fun. 320 miles on that seat would be an effective interrogation technique but would likely violate the geneva convention. And last but not least, my wife's very cool for letting me take her bike for the day. I had a great time. Thanks for the hospitality.

... And I learned to keep a house key on me so I don't get locked out for an hour and a half after I get home. Least I had garage access so I pulled the forks down on the 996 and got them ready for the revalve/rebuild.

Good ride today all! I think everyone did really well and I'm glad there were no issues except for the slow traffic since it seemed like everyone on 2 wheels was out today. Hope everyone made it home safe...we did see another group with a downed rider off 3090, but he seemed to be in good condition, except for some nasty rash on his left knee.

Thanks everyone for coming and being kind about late start due to member difficulties.

Sorry it didn't live up to the usual hype. Many variables played into the equation.

Tri and lilblueninja, bevo, otra, HoustonRepsol, and others that helped thank you as always. You all make these rides happen.

Sorry if the pace was a little fast on the way back. We kept it slow on the straights as much as we could, but I'm telling you... Bevo said he'd beat me up if I didn't take the corners hot.

sounds like you learned some valuable life lessons.

dont worry though...you're not the only one that has been defeated by a gas pump. i believe it was a fellow board member, but the story is...he thought the zip code was for stats...so entered a different zip then his billing zip. took a few tries before he realized it was for verification.
