Drag Pak and stiffer springs will be in the mail tomorrow. Im gonna try to get em in on the 3rd when I get home so keep the 4th cleared on your calander for us to try our races again. Should be a few bikes out since HAR is on the 5th. If I get a mounting bracket I can pull the air shifter out the closet and try to get that on in time too. No clutch chatter and air shifter I should see 9's no problem. Then I will have to call it a night since no gotti tha licens yet unless they are nice and let me slide one night

So how are you guys leaving at 5-6000? Whack it open and hang on or slipping the clutch a bit? I need to fine tune and get back out there... looking at the pic he had of mine the rear is squatting a bit much.. (might be my 250# )

You can start your launch there but you will have to slip the clutch into the torque band to pull you out the hole good. I call it "flashing the clutch". There are different riding styles for different sized riders and being 250 lbs means it is absolutely necessary to control the clutch through the 60ft to get a decent time. The whole time the throttle should be rolled to wot by the time you are no more than 80 ft out. It all depends on gearing and wheelbase, etc, where you end up wot and off the clutch. Some say it should be before you get to the start lights, others say the 60ft mark. No real rule here. The back end will torque squat because traction is extremely good at the strip.
