Angry Just got out of the hospital

I was coming up Allen parkway near Dunlavy, some guy in a bmw X5 is about to bust a U right in front of me. I tried to flash my lights and laid on my new air horn, did no good. Kept following through with the U. I aimed for the lane to his left and ended up tagging his rear left with my right hand guard, which sent me flying towards the curb. Panicked a little and put my feet down, then ran up the curb smashing my feet into it. Busted up my dainese torques, and my feet are bruised as (nothing is broken), but I managed to keep the bike up with just a few things broken here and there, hand guard, mirror, turn signal. thing is the ended up taking off on me. Got his plates, and will be pursuing him for damages.

I was not speeding excessively, I was doing 10 over, and the sun was in my face. This is the price you pay for riding on the street I guess. Ya'll be safe out there.

glad you are ok...but i have to pull a racer x for a moment and say if you hadnt been speeding it sounds like you could have avoided it, but you probably allready know that.

im assuming it was mostly the other guys fault, mainly cause he ran....but the way you describe it you basicly more or less rear ended him? whats the deal?

was he in front of you and u turned without signaling? or was he on the other side (oncoming) and then was uturning onto your side and didnt see you?

while 10 over isn't excessive, yeah I was exceeding the posted speed, I accept my share of the blame. When I approached he was still on the other side of the road he hadn't started to make the turn yet, I tried what I could to let him know I was coming but he made the U anyway. For what it was worth he did not signal, and the part where the majority of the blame lies with him, he ran. After he saw my bounce off his car and jump the curb, he drove right by me and looked me dead in the eyes as I flagged him down to stop to no avail.

I'm not completely innocent, you guys know why people ride allen parkway, I don't think you're stupid, I assume you guys would know why I was there. The problem is he failed to stop and render aid, or exchange information. This is the law, when you hit someone you stop. Luckily a very nice couple stopped and helped me out, and called 911 for me.

Since you were injured, its not an FSGI ("hit and run"), its a felony FSRA (fail to stop and render aid)....fyi.
