bike wont start! can anyone help?

well i just put a liscence plate light on my bike and went to go for a ride tonight since i had nothing to do, i left the house about an hour ago and i got about 20 minutes down the road and came to a stop light, when the light turned green i dumped the clutch and got on it real hard and before i was going to shift into 2nd all power went out and i coasted to the shoulder. it wont start so i called my dad to come pick me up. when i got back to the house i noticed the wire i had going to the liscence plate light got disconected and was hanging, it might have shorted a wire or something, im not sure if that has anything to do with it or not, but i checked all the fuses and several other things and still nothing, even disconected the battery, i turn the key and nothing happens, and nothing turns on at all.

You sure you checked all your fuses? they sometimes are not all in the same place.
Main fuse is what i would look for first. change it with another, don't just think it's good by looking at it.

Sounds like you blew the main 30 amp fuse. Follow the positive cable from the battery to your solenoid, remove the plastic cap amd check the green 30 amp fuse underneath. Let me know if you need any more help.
