We all need to remember, when we get comfortable on our bikes, its when we get lax on the safety aspect.
He made one mistake and he didnt get a chance to learn from it.
Rest In Peace Jason, may grant Peace to your family.
:shrug

so where is it mentioned he wasn't wearing gear at the time of the accident?

RIP brother... sorry to see these posts are becoming so common.

Haze3333...

To understand reality is not the same as to know about outward events. It is to perceive the essential nature of things. The best-informed man is not necessarily the wisest. Indeed there is a danger that precisely in the multiplicity of his knowledge he will lose sight of what is essential. But on the other hand, knowledge of an apparently trivial detail quite often makes it possible to see into the depth of things. And so the wise man will seek to acquire the best possible knowledge about events, but always without becoming dependent upon this knowledge. To recognize the significant in the factual is wisdom.

The only significant fact about this thread is that a fellow rider has died...

There are a few of us who multiple degrees, there is no need to flaunt it.

Scooter Was just pointing out that in the pic he had zero gear on. which shows a type of lifestyle, I've never met a rider who stunted on the freeway with a helmet on their tail that didn't ride way to fast for traffic conditions at one point or another, pointing out the fact that he wasn't wearing gear in a picture doesn't mean he's not sad, he said he was. lay off drop the subject stop being a complete clown and if you are really hurt about it then take it to PM's

RIP it sucks to see another rider go down. I wont be reading this thread again, flame away.

I know scooter's post was about the picture, but saying 'sad he had to learn the lesson the hard way' does make it sound like his lack of gear (from photo) had something to do with the accident, which it didn't... not supporting the insults on either side, but honestly after reading that I thought he was being quite callous also.

either way, R.I.P.
