the dvr is 14 bucks a month where the reg hd box is like 10

you get some kinda real surge protector on that yet? think we still have one of those at my work (not sure i have not been up there in a week)

but you should make sure you get a time warner box that has HDMI out put, normaly you have to special request them

they normaly wont bring it out to your house, you go up to the store on 45 or where ever is close to you and just trade it out. normaly they bring one with component hook ups ( the red green and blue)

yeah, we love HD esp if you bought a nice TV, it's not alot per month, but the extra shows they have are cool. last night they had rallye in Las Vegas, also had baja 1000 coverage........some neat shows you wouldn't get w/ reg. cable.

reg tv channel is fine for me. havnt had cable in 20+ years. only channels i get in hdtv are local channels. lol. $100+ adds up in a year. $1200 a year just on tv show is pricey, but alot of people seem to not mind i guess.

hmm at $60 or so for cable tv x 12 months x 20 years. my parents saved $14,400. not bad.

we have a 65inch rptv, to bad its already outdated. 1080i only. need a 1080p tv.

o and to watch comparable hd quality on the tv get a dvd upscaler.
