If you are going for the Corsas get them from John (SRC John). He will hook you up also... Pirellis are more expensive than Bridgestones.

IMO, you cant beat 016s for the price. They are a great tire (maybe not the BEST), and incredibly priced. I dont have the talent to outride them. I have had the rear break loose a few times, but it was smooth and predictable. I like them better than the 2cts I used to run.

i made a similair thread in moto related general discussion. the rossa corsa is the new contact patch vs multi compound. they will be better in the wet than bto16's. the corsa 3 in the wet was confidence building. the tread is similair enough. i rode 016 and corsa3 in the rain and well. the pirelli will have easier tip in than a bridgestone. my next tire will be the rosso corsa.

If you can outride the 016's....you should be racing.
Your right, they MIGHT not be the best......but they are pretty f'n close.
For an all around tire, you can't beat them.....period.

Bridgestone is the largest tire manufactorer in the world; they can keep competative rates whilest the others have to increase w inflation.

Hey John, my front tire (Corsa 3) is still in pretty good shape after 2000 miles, i know if i switch to BT016 i will have to replace both of them at the same time, is it the same scenario if i wanted to go with the Rosso Corsa?

No, the Rosso Corsa would run fine with the Corsa III front.

I've got them on my Tuono and they are sick. I know people have said this a million times on all tires but they really do heat up quick...much quicker than the Michelin Pilots I had before. They last a lot longer too while still providing some sick grip.
