no....not really, at least not for EVERYONE..

the rain will be scattered...and isolated.....and the %'s are 30-40, so really only portions of houston will get the pop-up thunderstorm...

sadly that normally includes clear lake....

it sux if it rains too hard...i cant take the s2000 out cause a few outlet roads out of my subdivision well up with water really easily

i might be a little too paranoid, but my CAI filter is about 3 inches off the ground, and if i go over a puddle....hydro lock.

my dad still drives the 94 eg hatch i had in high school. almost 200k miles and still (relatively) kicking...it gets him from A to B...lol
