07 cbr oil change need help

OK so i have already sherched it but didn't fing any answers. My question is does anyone know what is the big bolt right next to the oil filter for? I accidently opened it thinking it was the drail bolt I know Silly me....
Again Its the big bolt right next to the oil filter on a 07 cbr600rr. what is it for? does it have anything to do with the transmission? please help!!

If my engineering calculations are right, you must be talking about the oil cooler bolt with a sealing washer behind it. Apply a little oil on sealing washer and nut when you put it back. No harm done and you're set

Thanks Crzy88. I was worried. I changed the oil now so I should be ok. Hopefully it was nothing major to worry about.

nah you shouldn't be worried. Just use some German torque and make sure its "Guten Tight" lol
