What side of town are you on? Go see Sunny in Pasadena if you are on the south side.

"Need some work on the bike need a good shop that wont overcharge.."

FWIW, you are starting off with negitive karma there...

Any shop recomended on this sight is generaly straight up. Just because it is more then you want to pay doesn't mean you are getting "overcharged".

Quality generaly comes at a price...

(no offence, just saying...)

Airline Cycle Center is a very good shop. Doesn't look like much but the owner has been working on bikes since I was born. I had a vintage bike that we couldn't find one of the parts for and he MACHINED a new one. Cheaper than anybody.

Got my exhaust & a few other mods from them & was pretty impressed with the prices & how quick they handled putting on my chain and setting up my suspension. Good guys that dont bs & they even caught a mistake I made on my old bike.

+1 for Motorcycles Unlimited
these guys will let you know what needs to be addressed with your bike, and they arent just trying to make another buck. i just got some tires yesterday and patrick was sure to advise me on getting my forks taken care of. the left side is leaking onto the brake caliper and i know it isnt safe, i just cant get it taken care of right now. but yeah, its even printed on the receipt/work order, which i signed acknowledging that i am aware my bike is unsafe due to the forks.
they have spotted a couple of other things in the past too. very helpful. i dont know too many shops that look out for their customers like that.
also, since you are a member of this board, you would get a 20% discount. just give them your screen name when you drop off the bike.
they are located on 1960, a few blocks west of 45 (look for the dennys sign on the right. Motorcycles Unlimited's sign is fairly small), so if you dont live in the craphole known as houston, it is a relief to not have to ride into nastytown too far.

im actually not riding my bike and waiting til after my wedding so i can have the cheddar to get Motorcycles Unlimited to do all the work i need on it rather than take it somewhere cheaper.

that should be worth something.

also, just FYI. Lowering a bike is not just remove old links and put new ones, the front end needs to be lowered as well and that takes a little bit more time.

On the full system, are you going to just install it or would you change themapping as well.

If so then it will not be on the 35-60 price range. It will cost some money, shop around but Motorcycles Unlimited north and Sunny south can help you.

Did you get a power commander/bazzaz or something to go with your full exhaust that's going on?

So Motorcycles Unlimited and Sunny can both make custom maps for a PCIII? Do they both have dynos too? I'm using the generics right now for yosh full system but want to get a real custom map made for it

it'll save some money if he can put the lowering link in and the full exhaust himself. Then ride it to M/U or another place for the front and tune.

lowering link and exhaust should take an hour or two give or take.

Cool, thanks. Have you had one done there? Mind shooting me an approximate price to get it up on the dyno and have them do a map? Feel free to pm me if you don't wanna post it up

My full exhaust took longer than an hour and I didn't have fairings. Maybe I'm just special though lol
