Someone I know blamed these tires for his get off at the track. Just saying. I like pirelli's and have ridden hard on the super dragons & corsa III. Others I cant attest to.

I have them on my Tuono. Torquey engine so it eats up tires but I have about 750 miles on them and they barely have any wear and they grip better than the michelin pilots I have before. Heat up pretty quick. They are weird. They are just as sticky as other sportier tires but seem to last a lot longer. I read up on them and they seem to use a different method of making the tires grip than the usual softer rubber equals more grip method.

It really depends on what your riding style is and what you expect from your tires.

If your just commuting and some light backroad riding then something like the Diablo Rosso, BT021 (New BT023) or Pilot Road.

If your primarily a backroads rider and ride very aggressively you may opt for something with a little more grip at the expense of some tire life. You'd be in the market for something like a Diablo Rosso Corsa, BT016, BT003RS, Pilot Power 2CT....something like that.

The pirelli is where its at for me. The bridgestones will require rake/trail adjustment on my daytona. I have sworn by the corsa 3's for a couple of years now. Was reading up on this new tire and want to get away from the multi compound tire to try something new and possibly better. This new tire is contact patch based instead of multi compound. I need tires I can trust when I lay the hammer down. (Thanx lost) "lay the hammer down" lol. He'll get it. John, will you be at TWS (Texas World Speedway) may 8? If so, do you have these tires in 180 and 120? 17 inch wheels.

Yes I will be there and yes I am going to start carrying these. I think they fit a need. I didn't previously want to handle them, but I get a lot of people asking for them at the track, so....

They are probably what I'm going to run on mine once I swap the wheels and forks out. Heard some good things and am interested to see. Pirelli is where its at for me.

I love the Corsa III. I'm running BT016s right now, but curious about the Rosso Corsa myself.
