Houston Ride For Kids-Sun April 25

Gang, I see a few rides scheduled for this coming Sunday, and would like to ask that all of you consider joining us for the Ride for Kids....

These kids are some of the strongest and bravest human beings it has been my honor to meet...

We will have a police escorted group leaving from Stubbs on Telephone Rd @ 8:15AM heading out to the ride......

Houston Ride for Kids®

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
April 25, 2010

Humble Civic Center
8233 Will Clayton Parkway
Humble, TX 77338

When you join hundreds of other motorcyclists for this scenic ride through the Texas countryside, you'll have a great time while raising funds for the PBTF's medical research and family support programs! Riders on all makes and models are welcome.

Registration opens at 8 a.m. and closes at 9:45 a.m. The escorted ride starts at 10 a.m. sharp, rain or shine!

The ride will loop back to the Humble Civic Center. After a light lunch, participants will enjoy a Celebration of Life program that features interviews with young brain tumor survivors—the Ride for Kids® "stars" of the day. Award presentations to top fundraisers will follow.

When the ride returns, there is a light lunch provided and a program where some of the doctors talk about medical research, then some of the survivors talk, and then the top fundraisers are announced..

Bump!

Get in on this if you can! I have done this in the past, and it's a great ride for a great Cause. I'd be in on it if I hadn't just returned home from ECR last night @ 2am, and my bike is still in track mode.

The ride today was great. The weather could not have been any better. Met a lot of nice people out there. It is always a good feeling knowing that the money you donate will go to fighting cancer in children. bless those kids!
