^^ if it clears up my stance a bit, I am the kind of rider that gets passed by cages. Every time I try to leave a safe stopping gap between myself and the car to my 12 someone fills it in muscling for rank.

I can agree with the cop about the whole charges thing....the rider was acting stupidly and got what he deserved....ticketed! But i completely disagree with the charges of audibly recording...that dumbass cop should have know he was being recorded and asked the rider to turn off the cam...just another example of the government tryin to squeeze as much money outta the little guy(you and I)for their own gain.... its true what they say DONT STEAL THE GOVERNMENT HATES COMPETITION!!!!

I think your argument saying "we don't need police" would hold more weight if you lived in 5th ward, Sunnyside, or Acres Home. But anyway, I mostly agree with you and the level of policing now is getting to be extremely oppressive. I can't do anything without being watched. I HATE IT. Even my job has me tracked by GPS.

ah so you are trying to claim to be the embodiment of the principles of the United States. Talk about an overblown friggin ego.

Since your so 'intelligent' explain to us just how 'overboard' those LEO salaries are here in houston, and how anarchy is a much better system?

LEO drawing his weapon WAS NOT justified; even in the great state of Texas as the officer would have had a of a time proving he was in fear of his life. With the Texas Castle Doctrine / Law the rider would have had a justified shooting (maybe), however there are lot's of things to consider here, moto rider speeding, trooper w/out badge and unmarked car. If I was the rider I would have thought I was getting jacked, and drawn my piece. All and all, it should have ended with a speeding ticket, no need for the warrant.

WOW its against the law to record cops that is very dangerous business, that allows power to go unchecked.

whats going to be BS is the amount of money and time he has to spend fighting this

seeing this heats me up.....not going to tell the story cuz i dont think the community cares

lets just say, ever since then i never thought the same about cops again

money and time is something thats going to go byebye al because of some stupid stuff

back to topic.....the cop didnt just pull it out like they usually are trained....he whips it out, pretty much parallel to the ground

Some updates apparently as he's actually getting charged? I hate CNN.
not much in the way of updates... bit about the ACLU is new. The 'wiretapping' charge is BS and an abuse of the law as it was intended.

Get your panty out of it's twist and keep working on those reading skills. I simply stated there wasn't a lot of new information provided in that link.

...but probably the 'best' thing would be for this to go to court. If it's thrown out, then the real problem/issue doesn't really go anywhere. IF it goes to court on the other hand...

I still find it highly stupid that the authorities finding the whole purpose of having the camera running was to incite the entire incident.
