PS Ormand. Just a little advice. I would save the SMX-Plus boots for some SERIOUS backroad and Track Riding. You're killing those expensive racing boots with all that every day commuting. I would go back to the SMX-5 or 4 for everyday commuting and have the SMX-Plus or Supertech R's for the Track/Race Days.

Dont even think about the Super Techs if all you plan on doing is Everyday riding with an occasional visit to the track. That would be wasting your money

Not to get off topic, but I thought the only pair of boots that had replaceable soles were the vortice? Looks like the vertigo has the whole sole replaceable...am I just seeing things?

I'm not going to call you retarded. Can you please elaborate on this technique............

Exactly how it sounds. I'll do it every once in a while, but I obviously dont apply as much pressure as Ormy since my A*'s are 2 years old with a lot of life left.

I take my foot off the peg and lightly apply it to wet/questionable grounds to better judge how slippery the road. Especially before entering a turn.

I really can't believe you people think A* boots are better then Sidi...

I mean is it just because you posers like the Alpinestar logo?

I like the cleaner look personally. A* boots tend to be more "flush", if you will.

Here's the new lace. I suspect they must have cleaned the inner booty too as it does not stank no mo
