I was headed into Sealy when this happened... You've probably seen me around... I got hit by a drunk on my SV in front of Tony's last November... hit and run, and the glorious Sealy PD wrote me a ticket and did NOTHING about the hit and run. Gotta love that town you live in... love it like a good case of genital warts...

Sorry to hear about your friend... A lot of people have bought it out here... I think the primary concerns on RR is not the entry speed into a corner, but what is around and behind the trees you can't see through... I passed several small animals that had been pizza-fied last night... I could just imagine hitting that mess at speed. That'd be gross and disastrous.

As I was coming over the bridge last night, a 1970(ish) POS pulled out in front of me with no lights on, and then some douche bag not 100 feet further up the road was driving his tractor at night with no lights on it... That didn't rattle me since I was in San Felipe... I slow down in town to avoid tickets.

Out here I have been cut off by work trucks (county Road and Bridge), gravel trucks, tractors, tourists (they're the in the convertibles that love to drive in the country ... Go home moron!!! I'm tired of chasing you off my property!!! ), animals (usually dogs, but the occasional deer will come out of the woods... why do they ALWAYS run in FRONT of the moving vehicle??? ... and now a cow ).

, the other day, some idiot kid in a mid 90's sedan wanted to race me (???)... why??? I was tooling around at like 70(ish) and he came flying up my flashing his lights and pulled into oncoming traffic revving his engine like he was a badass... when he saw the truck coming straight at him, he came into my lane... And people wonder why I have a CHL

Anyway... I'm stepping down off my soapbox... I feel as though...
well... Welcome to Waller County...

Again, sorry to hear about your friend. It's always bad when somebody goes down.

... didn't really hurt her car much. I woulda figured a 800-1000 lbs cow would do more damage than that. What part of 359? Up around monaville???

You wanna cruise around, let me know.. I live on 1458 right by the cutoff for repka's...

Nope. South of I-10. About 50 yards past the Brookshire City Limit sign. Less than a week later, someone else hit a cow in almost the exact same place. And yeh, I was surprised it didn't tear the car up more.

I think the car's getting used to it. 6 weeks before that, she hit a raccoon.
