+1

I start to get this feeling after a looong ride. I just start gripping the tank with my knees more to relieve pressure/ weight off my wrists and forearms. Usually works well for me.

it happens to me too, it's pressure on a certain point in your palm and the combination of having your wrists bent. Icon makes some gloves with a gel palm supposely placed to remedy this situation.

I rode to Austin on my bike the first weekend of April and I was relaxed as could be but hands were still cramping.. Someone offered me a bannana and told me it would stop the cramping...... Well I ate it and drank a bottle water (in Lagrange) and didnt have any more cramps in my hand!!! Might work for you too just try it

I vote for Carpel Tunnel Syndrome. I think I am developing CTS because its only my right hand that numbing/stinging occurs, and its usually when I rest my wrists on something.

I know when I first started, I used to squeeze the handlebars real hard out of fear when going on the freeway for the 1st time! lol To relieve it, I would use my gloves to palm-grip (open hand) the throttle while circulation returns to my hand.
