Ne one know a lot about TL1000r's?

When the bike starts to decelerate...there is a popping sound that comes from the exhaust.... Ive heard that it is a TL thing but I was wondering if anyone could verify that it is or isn't...

What you are hearing is Afterfire.
I love it personally so I don't know why you would want to rid of it.

I know my R6 does that sometimes. Always wondered why that happened to. But, I don't mind!

Yeah popping on decel is often an indication that it's running a little lean. Since aftermarket pipes allow better breathing, it's common to hear that until the mixture is adjusted.
It doesn't hurt anything ( unless the mixture is VERY lean) but some don't like the sound. Personally I agree with Shinyman, I kinda like it.

You need to get someone to put a teka on it & richen it up a bit. It makes a big difference in power on the TL engine.
