I have an '05 VFR and I love it! It is a sport/touring bike....good for long all day rides without killing your body but sporty enough to enjoy the turns. The power actually does increase with the vtec kick in at 7500 rpms but most of us install a pCiii....it changes the profile and does smooth out the transistion so you can't notice the engaging of the vtec.
