Different crimes carry a different penalty. Its as clear as that. Many of us speed on a regular basis but that is far from theft.

Should the mother stealing food be charged the same as an organized crime ring stealing bikes and cars? Just like the court systems people will process the severity of a crime and judge them accordingly. I'm not saying this is right or wrong but it is just how people operate.

I didn't know jeremy but I know he never stopped for cops. He knew the risk when he started to run and it caught up with him. If he knew he was on a hot bike then he is going to get what he deserved.

I've looked in the mirror... and am now throwing stones. i can't believe you'd be saying that about a bike theif. he was riding a stolen bike that he had talked about building and was trying to find a frame for... what part of that makes it sound like he didn't know it was stolen?

Again, I am not defending him. I am just saying that we are not much different. You may think you are but you are not.

We like to look down on others so that we can justify our behaviors. "well, I might habitually drive home drunk from the bar, but at least I dont steal motorcycles!" That kind of .
HMMM, so kicking it for a few drinks and driving home is the same as lifting bikes and running from the popo? You're right...a sin is a sin, but you can't compare apples to oranges....like DvlRacer said, you think we should treat speeders the same as murderers?

I'd be willing to bet the peeps in this thread whom you've seen drink a few beers probably would pull over if they were caught....and chances are the cars they are driving probably belong to them.

Allowing and knowing someone is stealing bikes in a MC community is TREASON....i have little or no respect for you and you can kiss my .

Well...then paying a gift tax on a motorcycle instead of 6.25% is the king daddy of them all cuz thats federal. So is not claiming income from buying and selling used bikes.

So you must be the perfect citizen right? Never break any laws? Never would even think about it right? Bullshit.... I'm not saying stealing bikes is right, to be honest I didn't know that part about Jeremy. I'm saying you aren't perfect so quit acting like it. We had a similar interest, hauling on sport bikes. Its different when you know the person who was at fault.

Its a jacked up situation, not saying what was done was right by any means..... but I'm not perfect so I wont judge.
