We all have a pre-existing condition. A mental one.

Props to you Geezer, you da man!

My sister and I saw a truck cruising on the highway just gliding along the wall (on the right shoulder) very slowly. When the wall veered off onto an exit, the truck followed it. People were honking at him and speeding around him, but we slowed down and we followed him off the freeway- I thought he was dead. When it became apparent he was going to end up in a ditch on the right side of the feeder, we got up beside him and jumped out of my car, and stopped his truck. I startled him enough to wake him up and Toni took his keys as he was VERY beligerant and wanted to drive away. We left him with the EMT's - we never did find out what happened to him.

Point is - you NEVER know what's going to happen - it could happen just as easily driving a truck as a m/c. And that unoccupied truck will cause a lot more damage than your bike.

good point...

I just think riding with a passenger may be a little over the top. Thanks for your input.

Every time you put your leg over your bike, you're putting yourself at risk of injury. Even though all of us never want to think about this. BUT on the subject of having a pacemaker and riding with a passenger, that is just endangerment of another human being.

Also, I never ride with a passenger for the pure reason that if I go down I haven't put someone in danger or a possible fatality. I risk my OWN life when I ride.

I guess the problem with writing things on an internet forum is the lack of tone. Unless you indicate it's a joke, either by stating that or using emoticons, how would anybody know? We can't hear the laugh in your voice or see the smile on your face.
Maybe give some thought to that before you say something about someone you don't know, that could be misconstrued.

OMG! How in the world can you do that?!? Oh, the pain!

I don't think it's the same as knowing you have a condition that could essentially take your life at any time.

I never ride with a passenger - ever. I couldn't live with the guilt of having that life in my hands and losing it.

This is not Fast and the Furious or Biker Boyz.. both gay movies... seems like your the one that cant move on and drop it.. if you had a thought you would have known that busa bashing is rampant in here. and me being a proud busa rider just had to put that part about fading away just so the bashers would have something to do besides doing their jobs they are paid to do all day.. so with that said just drop it.. newbie...

idk.... if I had a condition that I knew about I would have to way the risks... would defiantly minimize risk to others.
