Uh........my answer is lollipop as the question is so broad that almost any response is valid.

I did a Google search, and it appears it might be possible.

Speaking of which, when disabling the 186MPH limitation on the K8 Busa, are you removing the rev-limiter restricton from 10.5k RPM or is there a toggle to actually disable the 186MPH limit?

Rev limiter is still in place. There's actually a seperate fuel cut at the 186mph speed limit. You're just removing this speed limit.

I admitted I did not know anything about the 186MPH restriction, and I feel so liberated.

I don't think anyone has developed software to edit the maps on the 1000s and down. Ecu Editor is used to alter the maps and then FDT is used to flash the maps into th Busa ECUs....I don't think anyone has written Ecu Editor for 1000s yet.... I bet soon though...

Beware of ECU flashing though.....it ain't fool proof.

Yes, you can edit the newer 1k's (05-08) im not sure if anyone has gotten the 09-10's hacked yet. they were having trouble with the secondary injector mapping last time i checked.
