Thack,

Dirt or Sumo wheels? I want to run the bike at GSS this weekend if all my parts come in for the suspension. Then I will decide what to do with the bike.

Jason,

Great find on the wheels. $500 for a set is cheap.

I don't know what other bikes they'll fit, but a quick call to Motostrano and I'm sure you can find out.
They will fit any of the big bikes (YZ, YZF, & WR's) 2000-2008 with the only issue being spacers. Keep YZ spacers with YZ's and so forth.

ya, that's not a bad price for the wheels. I sold my excel talons back in the day with big rotor and adapter, with a sprocket for 800 from my 426. wish i never did that. the bike does get ridden more in dirt form though.

OK. Ran the YZ at GSS in the afternoon versus the KTM in the morning and got up to speed on the YZ (for me anyway) by the end of the day.

I have since sold the Triple and was made aware of a nice bike I want that is available.

To fund it, I am going to sell the YZ or the KTM. Truth is, the YZ was a blast, and the KTM is just as much fun, so whichever sells first is cool by me since I really don't ride the SMR on the street much now.

I am posting here first, to see if anyone subscribed to this thread wants either first. If you do, let me know and we can together for a test ride, etc.

The YZ is self explanatory. I am keeping the stand that came with it, but will throw in another aluminum one that I have. The Rains are going to Greg.

I resprung the bike and fixed the leaking water pump along with other general maintenace and have another $500 ( not including my gas and time getting it here) in the bike. That's a total of $2500 with now fresh maintenance with less than 2 hours since.

At the end of the track day, the water pump seal started leaking again, so it is going to go in for another fix. The seal is cheap, I will paying for the labor though as I don't have time to fix it myself.

The YZ is for sale with all the extras for $2700 minus what I mentioned above. The water seal will be fixed at that price. Or, if you want, you can take it as is for $2,500.

If your interested in the KTM, let me know. It won't be cheap but it has two sets of wheels, street legal, and electric start, oversized tank, and extras.

If no one from this thread responds, I will place an ad and the YZ price may go up a bit. The price ($2700 or $2500) allows me to move on the other bike without going into savings.

Just clarifying

YZ450F motard sold this morning; pending payment, and delivery Tuesday.

I get to keep the KTM, and the new bike that will be delivered on the 21st to replace the YZ450f and the triple that is now gone.

Whoo hoo!

I found a 2007 ZX10R with around 300 (three hundred, no typo) miles and some extras (Two Bros CF exhaust) for a price I couldn't say "no" to. Black.

I've never ridden one, haven't seen this one.

Can't wait to try it out.

Sweet. I took a look at the new Z1000 today while picking up some stuff at Goe. Really tempted to pick up another street bike.

Sport bike, ehh?
Hmm, maybe if you stripped the fairings on that ZX10, added some risers w/ dirt bike bars.
Some spoked wheels and maybe a acerbis fender...
We MIGHT just let you hang out with us.

You know...I still have the 450SMR. It ain't going anywhere, I have too much in it, so I gotta ride my money out of it.

So, can I still hang out with the cool kids?

If not, I'll start on the mods when I get the 10.
