Thanks for all the offers. All will be considered if it works out that I win. I would be seriously shocked if no one snipes me towards the end. It's insane.

Navajib,
Jason sent me a link to SMJ that had a set of CRF 250 wheels that would work on your bike (I think, but you should check). I think they were down to $550 if I read it right.

http://www.supermotojunkie.com/showthread.php?t=98190

4.5 hours till the auction is over.

You could move those wheels for almost half of purchase price.

Re: Cheap Motard

Doesn't it have aftermarket brakes too?
I'm even thinking of offering trading the wr250x for such machine. Hehe

Anyways, you had a helluva deal, Staton. I'll stop nutswinging lol
I'll have to look at that link again for rear rim width. $550 is not that bad.
I'll buy rims and then trade?

I'm just hoping he didn't pull ad. Reason being, when I check it last night at 11PM I could have sworn there were 19hours left in auction which would have put it ending tonight not this AM. Guess we will just have to wait and see if Staton chimes in.

Looks like I won it.

I am still in shock it didn't go higher. I was already contacted about when I would pick it up.

Plans are to pick it up by middle of next week at the latest. I will at least keep it until the GSS track day on the 24th to try it out, then I will figure out what to do with it.

Obviously, the springs for the 120 lb rider will be exchanged for the stock springs (and quite possibly Big Boy Springs) as my 265 lbs fat would result in a slight suspension problem!

Sweet. If the wife gets you shouldn't have a hard time selling it for a profit.

She isn't mad. She's use to it. The good news is, I told her I was going to sell the Triple a few days ago, so she is cool with it. I do think I can make a little off it, or just have some fun with it. A day at GSS on it will answer all.

Anybody want a 1999 green triple? Fun bike. I just am at a point I am about to spend major money upgrading the suspension, and I would never get my money back out of it. Nothing wrong with the current set up, just something I like to do. I will probalby eventually get a 1050 version to do that to it, now that I know I really like them.

Watch for an ad tomorrow.

I take some good static pics tomorrow, but here are a few from GSS. Not sure on the price yet, I need to sort through my recpts, but it will be under $3,500 for sure. Tires are BT016's with two track days and two Sunday Morning Rides, fresh servicing, etc. Fresh front seals, new HH pads, great brakes. All around good bike, not perfect as it is a 1999 model, but in what I would call good condition, and I am picky as .
