In case you missed it, last Saturday I was a few riders back in a group being led by cdill35. As we came around a turn a state trooper was on the other side headed towards us. The front end of his car dove as he hit the brakes and put on his lights. After we passed him I saw him make a u-turn behind us and figured he was going to pull all of us over since we were in a fairly tight group. I didn't want to him off so I found the first good place to pull over and did so as those in front and behind me continued on their ride. At first he thought I was leading until I convinced him otherwise. I told him I was on my own ride and pulled over out of courtesy and wound up just getting a warning

Looks like a Whistler Cruisader to me. The Whistler Cruisader is not a laser jammer. It only detects laser, it does not jam it.

Blinder and Escort are the only ones I know of that are actual laser jammers. Both of these are add ons and can work with several different detectors or on their own.

Wow, thats bad man. You definately need to let us know if it works. Post up on the Forums and see if one of the officers will help you out with the test.

From what i've heard about your riding, you definately need one. Did your riding style scare your girl yesterday?

There are several more than just those two. Escorts are blah, good against some guns, others not so much. Blinders are decent stuff, but still not the best. LaserInterceptorUSA.com

No need. Your more than welcome to come with me to the RD.net shootout next month here in Houston. As far as I know most of HCCO shoots the LTI Ultralyte. The group we have shoots that and usually 4-5 more other laser guns, like the ProLaser 3 (HPD) and the Stalker LZ-1 (DPS and others) and the LaserAtlanta (not used much around here, but is in other parts of TX). But those guys will tell you just what I told you, and if that is a Whistler Crusader, which it looks identical to, it will NOT jam any laser guns. You'll be lucky if it alerts you in time to slow down before the officer gets your speed. (This is usually only going to happen if he shoots a vehicle in front of you and you catch some scatter off that shot).

What is nice is you have a remote install radar detector, and it really doesn't get any better than that. I would suggest you going to radardetector.net and posting in the motorcycle section with pics of your bike and others can tell you their opinions on where the best place to mount your receivers would be. Laser has to be line of sight, and you want it on the outtermost part of your front and rear ends.

Thanks Pyro... I have mapped out all points on where to mount. I will show the finished product when done.
