Buy: ATV Sport of Utility?

Attention Wise Folk of Motohouston. I'm looking at getting a ATV or Utility ATV. This past Easter weekend i had a blast with the fiances family and rode a Yamaha Raptor700 and some other big bulky 750 Utility with passenger seats and compartments.

had fun on both and both run around same price 7800-9000. Any of yall know any specials or have any advice on what to buy?

we were mudding for the entire sunday. If I wanted to take these things threw the water what all mods would I need to do?

Don't buy a raptor with intentions of mudding please. . .Several years in the parts and service department of a large kawasaki/polaris/BRP(canam) dealer taught me a few good lessons, one of them was that mudding an ATV tears it up!!! If you want to mud, save yourself the big $$$ new atv's and buy an old dependable honda or yamaha 4x4. Use the money saved for wheel/tire upgrades and future maintenance costs.

4x4 is the way to go had Raptor and Grizzly together. Got much more use out of the griz. The raptor your very limited to where you can ride.
