, a Yoshi pipe not loud enough?

How much do you guys ride daily? Cause I've been trying to quiet my pipes down as they kill my hearing after a few hours of commuting.

It seems to me that your question has been answered quite a few times so far.
Sure there have been some smart-assed replies in this thread, my own included, but really, you come into a moto forum and the question you ask is, How can I make my bike louder?
It's a fairly obvious answer. Put louder exhaust on it.
Which one is louder?
Everybody has their own opinion. It's even been suggested that you saw off the muffler.

Just so we are on the same page... many people in the non-riding public think sportbikes are obnoxious to begin with.
Why should we care?
Because they outnumber us by a HUGE majority. They decide our long term fate. off enough of them and laws will get passed that we can't have loud bikes or even aftermarket pipes, no matter how quiet.

So next time just ask, "How can I make myself more obnoxious, how can I help fuel the restrictions applied to the favorite passtime of hundreds of people who share this online forum?"
The replies you get will be similar.

For once, I completely agree with you.

I thought high-revving 600's with obnoxiously loud exhausts were played out?

Am I wrong?

The blinker fluid one is funny, it may not be original, but it was obviously good enough to receive a reply from you.

Re: Need Louder Exhaust

Weld on whistle tips and keep that bouncing off the rev limiter at ALL times.

check out MJS performance headers. that will solve your problem. or if you wanna go the cheap route look up T tuner mid pipe. I got a 07 r6 with t tuner mid pipe and jardine GP exhaust... it does the trick.

buy a Hotbodies megaphone (brand new $94) then get someone to build you a mid-pipe going from header to exhaust tip, should be less than $50 bucks at any shop. so for less than $150 bucks you got a custom load a$$ exhaust. you will actually lose hp and tq due to not having any back pressure as stated before me but it will sound just like how you want.

dont pay any attenshion to the haters of the loud exhaust. "if its too loud, you're to old" hehe well thats what my pop's who is 57 says. old people rock!!! okay maybe just my dad does, the rest of you old peeps get on my nerves.
