Saturday is going to be mini's and endurance on the big bikes. If your not familiar with the teams your really just watching a lot of guys run around the track for 6 hours.

Sunday is big bike sprints, Novice & Experts grid up for 6-8 lap races. For the average spectator, it is more fun to watch.

i agree,
the first time i saw an endurance race i thought it was a trackday i couldnt get in .
if you can put the teams together it is a ton of fun to watch all the drama that unfolds as the later hour come around.......

If you're a racer, and you're in your leathers and you're caught drinking or caught with an open container, you're gonna get whacked, and hard. Only after all your races are completed can you can relax with a cold one -- but you have to be out of your leathers. If you're a racer, and you're out of your leathers having a cold one, and you still have races coming up, you're going to get popped, too. For racers drinking in leathers, the only exception is at the end of the day when all races have been completed. (It'd still be a good idea to get out of the cow as quickly as you can, though.) Drinking for racers is a zero tolerance policy -- don't race the Open Cooler Expert/Novice class until your day is done.

If you're a spectator, you can essentially do what you want, but exercise good judgment, please. If you're riding or driving, drinking isn't a great idea. If you're getting tanked before the spectator lap, that's also not a good idea. TWS (Texas World Speedway) basically leaves enforcement of its drinking policy to the CMRA. Racers who abuse it will be dealt with severely. Spectators who abuse it will be booted.

Be cool.

This sucks... I just got word that I have a final exam on the 22nd, so I have to spend a lot of my free time cramming for the test. Wont make this race but I will make May 2 Eagles Canyon Raceway Decatur, Texas Sun: Mini Sprints / Big Bike Sprints.

Im guessing that Sunday is the best day still?
