I try to think of myself as on the offensive myself. To me defensive means to react to a move that someone else makes where i try to anticipate what they MAY do and react to that so that if it does come about u are not suprised and are have a way out. I ALSO think that i am invisible and again try to guess what the cagers would do if they did not see me. I try to drive slightly faster than the cagers as i HATE having cars blowing past me, got ran over from behind twice, tends to make u feel that way.
I drive inthe lane CLOSEST to the cagers in the lanes next to me. My thoughts are that they can see me in their side mirrors easier compared to the farthest away from them and they may not see me there and move into me. I NEVER ride alongside a cager, will either speed up past them or slow down abit.
again ALWAYS have an place to go if u need to. ALWAYS know where all the cagers are around you. again all are just my opinions
