I have a pair and think they are great, I can wear them ALL day without it being a problem. They seem to be pretty well made, not too hot.

Are they the Vision model? How long you had em?

what I can't figure out is why they are $100+ dollars less than everyone else and if that means they are the kmart version riding boot that won't hold up.

yes, converse have proven to be an ineffective means of protecting ones feet but you probably need the motor before the riding boots unless you are into coasting down hills

I've got a pair of Setup Gran Prix's. They are the thicker-soled "street" model. But they are good enough for trackdays. I bought them from New Enough off EBay. I got them for like $60 + shipping and tax. I really like them. Very comfortable and they feel like decent protection. Setup contracts their manufacturing to Sidi, so quality shouldn't be a concern.
