New toy

So I went out the other day to look at Ultimate MX down in Dickinson. I decided I liked the look of it so much that I would go and "look" at something to ride it on. Well by the end of the day I was minus one GSXR 600 and plus one of these...

23571 380403749266 763134266 3599148 1175850 n
23571 380403759266 763134266 3599149 1522178 n
23571 380403769266 763134266 3599150 7363140 n
23571 380403779266 763134266 3599151 5912118 n
23571 380403719266 763134266 3599147 7702500 n

Now I just need some folks in the area to ride with because I dont have my truck down here yet.....Anyone? Really more into trail riding, but figured I would give the track thing a try. STOKED!!!

thanks, no mods though. This thing had everything I need for a while. Ti exhaust full brembo, stainless lines on everything including the hydraulic clutch a fukking ton of power and 238 pounds fueled...Im not gonna do to it but ride the out of it.

No street for me....thats why I traded in the GSXR, to get away from houston roads. But if anyone is looking for an 08 600, Tejas in the Highlands has mine. If anyone is gonna go there Let me know because i have a some referral cards from my purchase!

Also thanks to everyone that provided insight on these bikes a while back in my previous thread!

Hmmm, moto-van is about a 13mpg toy hauler.

Nah, just chip in a little for gas and all is good. I've heard ultimate is the best newb mx track. I'm down!

Try 2 weeks! I've had my 450 for 2 weeks and only have ridden it twice. On concrete.

Alright so I was reading through my owners manual....its basically calling for an engine rebuild every 40 hours, change piston, main bearing, check valves and what have you. Seems quite a short interval no?

If you're just riding dirt, then it's a lot longer than it sounds.
Remember, rebuilding one of these things is a lot cheaper than rebuilding a sport bike engine.
