Take the bike to Arkansas?

This weekend (Friday-Sunday), I'm going to Hot Springs with the GF for a family get together, my dilemma is whether or not to take the bike. She said to take it but I'll be meeting some of her family for the first time and don't want to just show up and just head out on the bike, but at the same time, I do. I don't really want to sit around all day and be bored off of my @$$ with nothing to do.

BTW: We're riding up there with her dad in his truck.

What do y'all think?

You're asking a motorcycle community who will suffer no consequence for your decision.

Take it--I've seen videos.

Take the bike, meet her family say your hello's. You're not obligated to stay and spend time with her family. Besides, they're not your inlaws yet. She already said it's cool, what's the hesitation for? I would say just try to split the time fairly.

Take the bike. Then head north on AR7 past Jessieville. The section between Jessieville and Ola is amazing. Thats a short enough ride that you can do that and come back to Hot Springs in a few hours.
I did it last October.

Forget about the bike.
Suck it up and visit her folks, its only a couple of days.
Besides the Dads not going to want to lug his daughters BF bike to Arkansas and back.
and the female members of her family just aren't going to get it.

Unless they are all riders then use one of their bikes.

This is a test and a trap. She's only saying you can take the bike to see what you'll do.

Take the bike and all you'll hear is "You don't love me" and "You hate my family."

Just how much do yo like your GF?

If you think you guys have a future, leave the bike at home for the 1st visit.
Bring it on all return trips!

If she is just the flavor of the week, take the bike! This opportunity may not come again!

+1 - just be back at their house so you can eat dinner with them each evening.

I say take it,but only as a back up plan. Like a couple of others have already said, it's a test! Think about the points you'll earn if the bike is THERE, with you, and you never touch it. Plus, it'll be there if you really don't have anything to do.

If she really cares about you, she wants you to be happy.
If taking the bike will make you happy, then take it. If her family doesn't like it, then offer to take one of them for a ride. (bring the gear necessary) When her sister gets off the bike and gushes how awesome that was, the others may gain a little more understanding. (might get you laid too _ never diminish your options) If not, so what?
Would you rather sit in the living room at her mother's house listening to a bunch of people you don't know talk about the latest chicken prices and how the Tyson plant caught fire last year OR go riding on some of the best roads for 100's of miles?

The only part of this I don't get is why you are considering letting her dad tote it up there for you... ride it!!

Wait is her sister hot? Maybe I should take her for a ride....
