CL paint/fairing repair people?

Anyone ever use any of the people who advertise on CL?

Or better yet, is there a "OMG stay away from George in Pasadena" type
suggestion?

Never had good luck with any paint service on CL?
Spend the extra cash at a shop.

Found a real good guy. He's a out of work engineer and is working out of his garage. He did a fantastic job at a very reasonable price.

The circled red area was smashed and broken. Looks new. Fixed several other cracks on the other panels and painted it all. His plastic welding skills
are really good. He's was working on 3 bikes fairings when I picked my stuff up this afternoon. I turned him onto this sight.

His contact info is plasticsnpaint@yahoo.com.

No affiliation, YMMV, just seems like a good guy who is WORKING to support his family as opposed to gripeing about bing unemployed.

thats who i figured. he's a cool guy. my sister and brother in law live on his street. he does do really good work, and i've never met anybody who can plastic weld like him. some of the stuff that comes in to him is sooo busted up, and when he's done with it, looks good as new, if not better! i'll go to this guy anyday!

He was showing me a fairly large peice that he had metal flake or pearl () black and it looked fantastic. All the metal was even with no stripes.

I like that he likes the fact he's home to greet his kids when they get off the bus now that he "works from home".
