good save, trying to use a truck, and grass to slow him down. those sweeping curves pop up out of nowhere!

"What Happened????????"

You stood the bike up in the middle of turn, froze, and almost got ran over by a 1.5 ton F-150.....that's what happened.

For sure Crabb River on part of it....

That was a very poor display of riding....

Guys, seriously, get your to the track and improve your skills. I hate being a negative nancy but everyone is right. Someone is going to end up seriously hurt or possibly worse.

i still remember a head on collision at crabb river 3 years ago as a result of a newbie running wide and hitting another rider on the opposite lane, both died instantly :(

It's sad to hear that an unsuspecting rider had to go down to prove this.
Another reason why you should keep your own pace

DONT get me wrong. I have made mistakes, like all of us have, and will do. It happens. BUT...

1 of 3 things (rider oriented, not mechanical) off the top of my head.

1. riding above your (safe) ability - for whatever reason (keeping up with others, new bike/ more power, etc, etc...

2. riding without knowing your surrounding/route (# 1. can usually be a factor into this as well)

3. not paying attention/unfocused - (your too busy being distracted by 1. and 2. IF those are attributing factors.) blowing off steam, running late, you got diarhia, cat died, you gotta be the hero..whatever..)

but it's insanely funny that one blows the curve, almost plows into an oncoming vehicle, rides through 50 yards of grass. And THEN claims skill and judgement survivng what was ultimately his own mistakes, that led him there in the first place.

and posted on youtube, chest thumping, for all to see.

wait for it.

wait for it...

wait...

BWAAAHAHAHAHAahahahaha!

I sent him a message on you tube. He said that they all do track days and that the guy that ran off was getting personal instruction from a pro road racer that rides for yamaha.

Hmm...could it be Colin Edwards training him?

Both Kenny Roberts and Kenny Roberts, Jr. are instructing him. They told him never do that again.
