when i rode that yr bike i had to help it up by either bouncing the front end when i clutched it up(stand up).. or sitting far back in my seat(sitdown)

I've had an 04 R6, 05 RR, and 08 RR. The 05RR needed the most RPM's of that group of bikes to clutch up in 2nd gear. the 03-06 power band isn't as good as the 07-up, it weighed more than the 07-up, and probably most importantly had more weight distributed towards the front because of engine placement and rake. The R6 was actually the easiest to bring up of the 3.
