On the upside I only paid 2k for a stolen future track bike!! Lol!
Baught it with 4500 miles on it December of 08. So not horrible at all.
Gonna take a minute to make it track though because I'm gonna have to save up a bit more to fix up my new cbr whenever I get it! Lol.

When you go and get registration remember to wear plain white underwear and socks and leave your jewelry at home because if that thing is stolen...bye, bye! If you have no bill of sale or title to a stolen bike and the people you bought it from are long gone it is going to look like you stole it and are trying to register it in your name. For 's sake, do not go up there until you run the VIN and if it comes back stolen get rid of the thing. A few years in jail is not worth the 2k you spent on it.

paid them. dropped a grand. paid about 6 months worth of payments and stopped when he told me i owed way more than what i started cause he told me to put it in my name f him!
lesson - if your going to do payments, get what is owed exactly before you throw them money. get receipts for every time you pay them. and MUST write up some sort of contract.
but i only got away with payin 2gs for mine. im a say i got out pretty good. even with all this bs thats happenin! lol

def not going to jail. called and asked if i could even get it registered and they said yes after running vin and plate number. but wouldnt give me any paperwork to re register since im not the original owner and have no way of contacting him.

If there is still a lein on the bike..........which when you say that you took over payments I believe there is.........you will NOT get a title. In Texas the leinholder gets to keep the title. Your only hope is going to the title holding bank, and seeing if they're interested in transferring the note to you. Its a long shot, but its what you're left with.

Wrong.

If you're going to do payments..........PAY A FVCKING BANK! Taking over payments for someone is a sure-fired way to get screwed exactly like you've done.
